Reflections…
…turned inside-out.
One of the strongest devices to use in photography is a reflection, however in my opinion, it is also one of the biggest clichés! These images are my attempt to flip reflections on themselves, so to speak, and add a little more interest to the frame.
What would it look like if the sky itself was a reflecting pool, instead of the skyline always being turned upside down? What would it look like if snow could reflect? What if reflection showed something else about the scene?
Importantly, none of these images are photoshopped, this is all done in-camera using a built-in technique. In the film days, it would be what happened if you exposed the same bit of film to two different scenes.
